What a true friendship means to me

When I was in third or fourth grade, I used to have a slightly tough time making friends. I was very social, friendly and optimistic and thought people would like me and some did! Or so I thought. When we are young, we tend to believe anything anyone says. We were naive and gullible and could easily be made to do other people's homework for an example. Making truly good friends was extremely challenging at that time. And it still is. My personality according to me is quirky (weird but in a unique way), annoying, humorous and just fun to talk to. Each person is a novel blend and brew of spices. Let me put it this way... not everyone likes cold coffee or hot tea! You have to find a friend according to your taste buds or friend buds. You can identify who you'd jell with well using those buds and make them your best buds! Friends are thirst quenchers and fill your belly up with a juicy conversation. They spice and lighten up your bland and boring day. But finding a friend who isn't a friend is common and can get you cooked up into mischievous situations that you never had anything to do within the first place! Being able to identify who's right for you isn't easy. It never was and never is going to be. You need to be prepared for anything at any point in time primarily when you're in middle school or younger. If someone is a bad influence on you and your self aware and conscious about it then just stay away! You are the master of your mind and hence you can control what actions are to be necessitated.

Let me classify friends into some categories for you...

1. Hi Bye friends - The most common group of friends ever! they're annoying, frustrating to talk to and act as if they love you without even knowing your name! Hi, Bye as in they wave you hello or a hi and then say Byeee! gtg now sis or bruh.
2. The Girl talk - They talk about things they shouldn't talk about at their age and just act weird. Girly as many would say. But being a girly doesn't mean being all lovey-dovey and nonsense talking. Once upon a time being girly was respected. behaving like a girl, acting like a girl was a good thing and still us but gen z and their slangs have changed it all
3. The boy talk - similar to the girl talk with conversations that they shouldn't be having at their age. And there isn't a term called boyyee. You could say boyish. These type of boys always play silly pranks and stunts too risky for them and behave like daredevils all the time. Safety first boys!
4. The nerds - Put their books ahead of their friends ( or so-called friends ) Then again.. being nerdy isn't a bad thing. Being amazing at studies is okay! but studying excessively and being over-prepared pressurises their brains and make them forget about the real important thing... Their friends. A nerd with a good friend is super lucky as their friend or friends keep tabs on them and set limitations for them so that they don't have issues sleeping or severe migraines just because of straining their eyes too much!

And last but unquestionably not the least

5. best friends - These friends are as rare as a piece of Netherite in Minecraft. Netherite is an ore rarer than diamonds so you know about the level of rarity I'm talking about! These friends are your mother and father and siblings in school. They're multi-talented and are there for you at every step of the way. They're the kind of person who will insist on having a race to the top using the stairs just to keep that burger/pizza loving person fit (you! share some of your yum food with me too!). If your unwell, they'll be sad and unwell because you're under the weather. So try not to fall sick cause it's going to make you sad but your best friend worse.
